The Michigan Area Haiti Task Force is a group of United Methodists from the Detroit and West Michigan Conferences who are active in promoting and supporting various projects and programs in the country of Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. These activities are governed by a partnership mission covenant between the Michigan Area of the United Methodist Church, UMCOR and the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas.
We hope that you will make a short visit to Haiti through these pages to see where God is working in both Haiti and the Michigan Area. Then go wherever the Holy Spirit may be leading you, to be the hands of Christ here or there, to be a blessing and to be blessed in return.
